The dream is to make africa a better place to be
I am a passionate young mathematician interested in making my community and surroundings a better place through education and charity work. Over the years, I have engaged in leadership roles, and personal community projects and explored knowledge in different fields. My main research goals is understanding disorders of movement accompanied by Alzheimer diseases at various stages of the illness. I believe the role of inhibitory neurons in memory development, consolidation, storage and recall is crucial in the unconscious amnesia of ongoing motor movement. To achieve my career goals, I have sought skills and programs that would train and prepare me. However, I currently at a phase were I am keen on understanding motor patterns and locomotion.
My latest reseach is "PageRank, Centrality and the Brain", which employs hierarchical measures to discover the hierarchical organisation of neurons in the brain and the cubitermes termite nest. Businesses can use a similar approach to assess and predict customer behaviour based on gathered data. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics with Economics from the University of Cape Coast - Ghana and a Master of Science in Mathematical Sciences under the supervision of Dr. Philip Knight from African Institute for Mathematical Sciences, affiliated with Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
Though I find comfort in the solitude of my ideas and actions, I enjoy being a team player. I believe one can accomplish anything that has heart, soul and hard work backing it. I look forward to exploring knowledge in diverse ways and fields, both in industry and academia.
